Car-lite Living

In Indigo, we want to empower those who wish to live a car-lite lifestyle. By maximizing our community's walkability and bringing in some ridesharing assistance, we hope to inspire some residents in Indigo to give up the environmental and financial burdens that come with owning a second car.

Envoy Community EV Share

Residents in Indigo will have access to a shareable community electric vehicle, a truck for moving small items, picking up plants, furniture, or other items. Our hope is this will inspire some residents in Indigo to give up the environmental and financial cost of a second car, which some estimates put at $12,000 a year. All residents will enjoy some complimentary time with this EV on move-in.

ConnectSmart

ConnectSmart’s Carpool feature gives Indigo residents the opportunity to create their very own private carpool. Rides can be shared with friends and neighbors, or users can search through existing carpool groups to find people with similar interests.

Walkabilty

At Indigo, we've taken special care to make sure that we've integrated as much safe connectivity as possible for our residents to get around on foot, bike, or whatever wheels keep you rolling—without getting into your car. Our streets and sidewalks are designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind, with narrower roads, rear garages with private alleys, wider sidewalks, and plenty of shade spots and rest stops for pedestrians. Prefer to stay off the main streets? Our network of mews are people-first, car-free green spaces where kids can play and friends and family can gather, winding through our entire community. Within them you'll find plenty of trails to follow, plus IndiGolf holes to keep you active. And of course, Indigo Lake is perfect for a walk or ride through nature.
